While browsing websites on internet, you will find so many websites are not allowed right click or restricted from copy the data . Data copy and paste is very common in daily routine life. Sometimes we copy the data for reading or reference purpose.

Many websites have disabled the right click+copy function for security purpose.

Note: Here we are not promoting to copy the data from others websites.

Many websites owner uses JavaScript to restrict the copy function. Now, here are some tricks to copy the data from such websites.

1. Use note Taking Apps

            A) Pocket (https://getpocket.com/)

• Signup on pocket app
• Install Pocket app extension for google chrome
• Go to websites which you want to copy the data
• Click on pocket extension
• Now open pocket app on browser
• You will get all data from webpage.

            B) Evernote (https://evernote.com)

• Signup on Evernote
• Install Evernote app extension for google chrome
• Go to websites which you want to copy the data
• Click on Evernote extension
• Now open Evernote app on browser
• You will get all data from webpage.

2.   Disable java script function on browser.

A) Google Chrome:

•  Open google chrome browser
• type “chrome://settings/content”
• select do not allow any site to run JavaScript

B) Firefox

• Go to Tools –> Options
• Click on Content tab
• Uncheck the box saying Enable JavaScript
• Restart Firefox and you are done.

C) Internet Explorer

• Go to Tools –> Internet Options
• Click on Security Tab –> Custom Level
• Scroll to Scripting
• Disable it.
• Restart IE and you are done

     3. Use Source Code of webpage 

            Type on browser” view-source:website address”

             Example: my website “view-source:http://www.techsarathi.com”.

  4. Use of proxy sites
       While browsing on internet, you will find many websites let you allow to disable           JavaScript.
